US developer eyes Manchester Odeon site

US developer Hines is said to be preparing plans to fund and develop the former Odeon cinema site in Manchester which has consent for a 175,000 sq ft office scheme.According to PropertyWeek.com the US developer and investor is under offer to jointly develop the Oxford Road site.Family company Manchester & Metropolitan Properties is believed to have been in off-market talks with Hines for several months about striking a 50:50 joint venture agreement on the site.
