Several drive-in cinemas will open from June 15, following a statement scheduled tonight by Boris Johnson in which he’s expected to lay out plans for drive-in cinemas to open, alongside zoos.
The news come as the government reveals it’s latest steps to restart the economy, with retail shops told to open in June, so long as social distancing regulations can be adhered to.
After speculation that pubs may reopen as early as 22 June, the hospitality industry has confirmed the earliest possible reopening will be on 4 July, in accordance with the government’s third phase of easing the lockdown.
