A CINEMA in the heart of Worcester has marked a milestone anniversary. The Odeon in Foregate Street has celebrated its 70th year of providing the city’s film fans with new movies.

The site of the Odeon – which is the city’s oldest still operating cinema – was home to the Public Library and Hastings Museum building, originally built in 1835.
