Work to repair historic cinema’s leaky roof restarts as Government lockdown eases

Work on repairing the leaking roof at Clevedon’s historic Curzon Cinema has restarted – after it was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Contractors moved on site at the picture house in February to begin work on the roof of the Grade II listed building. But the work was forced to stop due to the Government lockdown.

The cinema has also been forced to close its doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, however, following an easing in parts of the lockdown, contractors are now due to return the site to re-start the repairs.
