Cinema chain Odeon-UCI and Italian anti-piracy body FAPAV (Federazione Anti-Pirateria Audiovisiva) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of jointly combating movie piracy, the first such initiative for the Italian cinema industry. In particular, they are targeting camcording. They aim to raise awareness of the rules relating to the protection of cinematographic works with regard to their illegal reproduction and duplication.
